MACHINING
With partnerships that provide capacity on dozens of vertical milling machines, horizontal milling machines, 5th axis machines, and manual machining cells, Leth Iron can provide casting as a finished good no matter the volumes or tolerances required.
COATING
Whether it’s wet paint, powder coat, zinc, enamel, or various other specialty coatings, Leth Iron has partners that can provide the consistent colour, coverage, and quality that’s required. With partnerships at both dedicated coating subcontractors and with partner machine shops that coat in-house, there is no coating type, colour, or spec that is outside the breadth of Leth Iron’s subcontracted capability.
HEAT TREATMENT
Although there are numerous heat treatments that can modify the properties of cast iron, the most popular heat treatment commercially available is unquestionably Austempering. Leth Iron accomplishes this specialty process in partnership with Aalberts Surface Technologies at one of their three dedicated austempering facilities. Aalberts is the world leader in Austempering, and are the only company Leth Iron trusts to turn Ductile Iron into Austempered Ductile Iron (ADI) and Carbidic Austempered Ductile Iron (CADI).

ASSEMBLY
The efficiency of pressing bushings into castings immediately after removing them from a machining fixture can save time, energy, labour, and costs for the end user. Leth Iron’s subcontractors also offer subassembly of multi-casting products and the installation of various sub-components, eliminating part numbers and warehousing requirements.
